The Missouri FSP Learning Cohort Moves from Planning to Implementation

Following two years of learning about firearm suicide prevention (FSP), gathering community input, and program planning, the Missouri Firearm Suicide Prevention Cohort began implementing the first stages of their firearm suicide prevention projects in February 2023. Each project has its own unique approach and target population, with examples including youth, veterans, and construction/manufacturing workers. In total, the Cohort’s projects currently span 23 counties across the state.
